Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Rakdos Dragon and Treasure deck commanded by Smaug the Impenetrable. It accelerates mana through low-cost mana rocks, Dwarves, and Treasure generators to deploy large flying threats ahead of curve. The central strategy pairs Smaug's indestructible body with massive noncombat damage spells such as Blasphemous Act and Chain Reaction. When these spells resolve, Smaug survives the damage and converts it directly into double-digit Treasure tokens. The deck then translates this resource surge into decisive victories using drain payoffs like Mirkwood Bats, artifact overloads with Hellkite Tyrant, or wide dragon attacks enabled by Lathliss, Dragon Queen. Built-in haste and indestructible keywords grant strong combat pressure and sweeper resilience, while equipment pieces protect against targeted exile.
