Blight Curse by SpankYeti

Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jund "-1/-1 counter" midrange deck helmed by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch, who turns every counter-placing event into card draw on your own creatures and chip damage on opponents'. The plan is to spread -1/-1 counters through wither creatures, ETB counter sources, and proliferate effects, then convert those counters into value: card draw (The Scorpion God, Massacre Girl, Known Killer), tokens (Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Flourishing Defenses), and theft (Necroskitter, The Reaper, King No More). Kulrath Knight and Everlasting Torment lock down opposing boards. The deck wins through incremental combat damage with deathtouch/wither bodies, or by accidentally assembling the Blowfly Infestation chain with Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons or The Scorpion God. It is a value-and-grind deck with essentially no stack interaction and no search suite - it plays a long, grindy game and hopes to out-value the table.
