Deck overview

This is an Abzan Food deck built around the partners Sam, Loyal Attendant and Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit. The strategy is a token-economy grind: generate Food tokens in overwhelming numbers, convert them into life, mana, and cards, then cash that life and those sacrifices into table-wide damage. Sam's at-combat Food creation and Frodo's Ring-triggered draw provide steady command-zone value, while Peregrin Took, Chatterfang, Squirrel General, Parallel Lives, and Academy Manufactor multiply every token event. The deck finishes through several interlocking routes: the Sanguine Bond/Exquisite Blood infinite drain loop, redundant loops with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose and Vizkopa Guildmage, Aetherflux Reservoir snipes from a fat life total, and cheap sacrifice drains from Mirkwood Bats, Marionette Apprentice, and Nadier's Nightblade. A late Second Harvest or Farmer Cotton plus Pippin, Warden of Isengard's haste overrun closes games the combos have missed. It wins slowly but with enormous redundancy and inevitability.
