Deck overview

This Gruul Landfall deck leverages Toph, Hardheaded Teacher alongside classic land-centric engines to generate overwhelming board presence and mana velocity. The early game accelerates through efficient ramp spells and additional land drop effects like Exploration, Azusa, Lost but Seeking, and Dryad of the Ilysian Grove. Once its resource base is online, the deck generates wide armies of creature tokens and animated earthbent lands using powerhouses like Scute Swarm, Avenger of Zendikar, Titania, Protector of Argoth, and Omnath, Locus of Rage. Toph provides added resilience by animating lands that return to the battlefield if removed, naturally triggering further landfall abilities.
