Dwarfs? Maybe? by King1838

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Boros Dwarf deck builds an overwhelming board of Dwarves and Treasure tokens. Thorin, King of Durin's Folk converts each Dwarf entering into mana and buffs every other Dwarf by the number of artifact tokens you control. The main plan is to flood the board with cheap Dwarves and copy effects, amass ten or more Treasures, then use Magda, Brazen Outlaw to tutor Desert Were-Worm for two combat phases. Secondary lines include Balin Loremaster's mass draw and burn, a Cadric-copied legendary swarm, and There and Back Again producing Smaug's death-treasures. Despite Boros's usual weaknesses, the deck has enough tutors and redundancy to reach its mid-game kill if Thorin survives long enough to accelerate the board.
