Deck overview

This is a general-power five-color control deck centered on Jace, Multiverse Architect. Its normal plan is to accelerate with two-mana rocks, cast Jace, Multiverse Architect, use +1 for card flow, and use −3 with a token or small creature to put a large creature or planeswalker directly onto the battlefield. Archon of Cruelty, Toxrill, the Corrosive, Hullbreaker Horror, Nezahal, Primal Tide, and Jin-Gitaxias, Progress Tyrant are strong hits, but the exact hit is uncertain and the deck has no compact kill. The interaction package is broad, with counters, spot removal, and sweepers, while Narset, Parter of Veils, Smothering Tithe, and Monologue Tax provide situational restriction. The main weaknesses are commander dependence, tapped lands, expensive threats, limited tutoring, and the absence of a deterministic finish.
