Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered competitive Dimir strategy built around Satoru Umezawa. It combines an ultra-compact Thassa's Oracle plus Demonic Consultation win condition with a devastating creature-cheating plan. The deck uses low-cost, unblockable creatures—such as Changeling Outcast, Slither Blade, and Gudul Lurker—to enable Satoru's ninjutsu ability, allowing it to drop massive game-ending threats like Blightsteel Colossus, Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, and Ancient Silver Dragon directly onto the battlefield for just four mana. Supported by a premier fast mana suite including Mana Crypt, Chrome Mox, and Mox Diamond, the deck consistently threatens critical game actions by Turn 3. It protects its execution with a robust package of free countermagic, including Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Pact of Negation, while disrupting opposing strategies with Opposition Agent, Dauthi Voidwalker, and cheap spot removal. Whether racing to an instant-win combo or burying the table under overwhelming combat and resource oppression, the deck operates with lethal speed, high resilience, and minimal variance.
