Deck overview

Tsagan, Raider Warlord leads an aggressive Mardu combat deck built around first strike and double strike synergies. Tsagan rewards proactive creature deployment by turning every first-striking and double-striking attacker into a team-wide power anthem on attack, rapidly accelerating engine speed toward max speed. The deck curves low-cost, resilient keyword creatures like Swiftblade Vindicator, Battle Brawler, and Kinscaer Sentry into mid-game force multipliers including Blade Historian, Isshin, Two Heavens as One, and Windcrag Siege. These multipliers double trigger outputs and combat damage, turning modest boards into lethal assaults by Turn 5. While the deck possesses explosive damage velocity and resilient graveyard recursion through Alesha, Who Smiles at Death and Alesha, Who Laughs at Fate, it relies heavily on uninterrupted combat steps and remains vulnerable to well-timed sweepers. Supported by flexible Mardu spot removal and targeted protection spells, the deck focuses on knocking out opponents sequentially across rapid combat rotations.
