Deck overview

This deck is a focused Golgari stompy strategy built around Polukranos, Unchained and +1/+1 counter synergy. It uses early ramp to establish Polukranos on curve, then multiplies counters and power through cards like Branching Evolution, Corpsejack Menace, and Kalonian Hydra. Card advantage is fueled by high-power draw spells like Rishkar's Expertise and Garruk, Primal Hunter, which refill the hand based on Polukranos's 6/6 base size. Polukranos provides repeatable creature control via its fight ability and resists removal by escaping from the graveyard as a massive 12/12. While vulnerable to creature sweepers and lacking stack interaction, the deck presents overwhelming combat pressure and resilient graveyard recursion to close games in sequential attack steps.
