Deck overview

This mono-blue control deck leverages Nezahal, Primal Tide to dominate the card advantage ledger in multiplayer games. Because Nezahal cannot be countered, removes hand size restrictions, draws cards off opponents' noncreature spells, and blinks to dodge removal, it functions as an extraordinarily durable engine in the command zone. The deck spends the first several turns hitting land drops and deploying mana rocks to reach its steep casting costs. Once Nezahal or complimentary threats like Hullbreaker Horror and Spawning Kraken enter the battlefield, the deck suppresses opposing boards with asymmetric bounce spells such as Whelming Wave and Summon: Leviathan. Victory is achieved by overwhelming opponents through large Kraken tokens, unblockable attacks, and passive drain from Psychosis Crawler. While vulnerable to fast combo decks due to a low count of cheap counterspells, it thrives in midrange games where it can out-draw and out-muscle the table.
