F&F Precon by LasdalMerzim

Format: Commander

Commander: Frodo, Adventurous Hobbit and Sam, Loyal Attendant

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Abzan Food/lifegain deck is built around the partnered pair Frodo and Sam. Sam's discount makes each Food a cheap 3-life source, while Frodo turns that life gain into repeated Ring tempts and cards. The primary plan is to generate a critical mass of Foods, then convert a big life-gain turn into mass drain with Gollum, Obsessed Stalker and Sanguine Bond. Secondary paths are commander damage with a pumped, unblockable Frodo and a token surge from Farmer Cotton, Motivated Pony, or Assemble the Entmoot. There is no true hidden commander; Bilbo, Birthday Celebrant is a luxury top-end doubler and tutor, not a build-around center.
