Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov lifegain and attrition deck commanded by Liesa, Shroud of Dusk. The primary game plan revolves around deploying Liesa to establish an asymmetric life tax on spellcasting while weaponizing her 5/5 flying lifelink body. The deck synergizes lifegain with drain amplifiers like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, and Vizkopa Guildmage, transforming every combat connection and lifegain trigger into direct damage against opponents. Defensive pieces such as Ghostly Prison, Norn's Annex, and Authority of the Consuls slow down wide aggressive boards, while cards like Kambal, Consul of Allocation and Rug of Smothering accelerate the attrition clock. The deck lacks infinite combos or dedicated tutors, relying instead on steady card advantage and critical mass to grind out table-wide victories.
