Captain James T. Kirk by JGCD

Format: Commander

Commander: Captain James T. Kirk

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This mono-red aggro deck, helmed by Captain James T. Kirk, aims to swarm the battlefield with cheap creatures and tokens while leveraging Kirk's modal ability to generate card selection, extra bodies, and a power boost. The core plan is to empty the hand as quickly as possible so Kirk's enter/attack trigger offers multiple modes, fueling a rapid board presence. Impulse-draw spells like Light Up the Stage, Reckless Impulse, and Wrenn's Resolve keep the gas flowing, while Professional Face-Breaker and Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer produce treasure and exile casts. Damage is pushed through traditional combat, the life-loss from Throne of the God-Pharaoh, and occasional extra combats from Fear of Missing Out. The list lacks infinite combos and relies on overwhelming early pressure and incremental advantage to outpace three opponents.
