Gylwain, casting director by echmire

Format: Commander

Commander: Gylwain, Casting Director

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gylwain builds a Selesnya enchantress value engine. The commander's Role tokens turn every nontoken creature into an Aura, fueling Sythis, Setessan Champion, Eidolon, and Composer of Spring. The primary plan is to chain enchantress draws and role-triggered constellation triggers into a wide board of Role-wearing creatures, Spirits, Pegasi, and Soldiers, then pump it with Archon of the Wild Rose, Boon of the Spirit Realm, and Hallowed Haunting. The secondary path uses Composer of Spring to cheat Summon: Bahamut/other Sagas into play and win with chapter IV Mega Flare. Sythis acts as a hidden enchantress commander in the 99; no double-faced commander is present. The deck is mid-speed and beatdown-oriented, with protection spells rather than counters.
