Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger and storm deck helmed by Vivi Ornitier. The game plan revolves around casting a high density of cheap noncreature spells to trigger Vivi's ability, which simultaneously places +1/+1 counters on Vivi and deals 1 damage to each opponent. Vivi's {0} activated ability converts accumulated power into a burst of blue and red mana, effectively refunding mana spent on cantrips and propelling explosive storm turns. The deck supplements Vivi with classic burn engines like Guttersnipe and Coruscation Mage, massive card draw from Archmage Emeritus, and treasure generation from Storm-Kiln Artist. For a decisive finish, the deck leverages an infinite mana and cast loop via Isochron Scepter imprinting Dramatic Reversal, which triggers Vivi for infinite direct table-wide damage on Turn 5. Flexible interaction, bounce sweepers like Cyclonic Rift, and life-gain cannon Aetherflux Reservoir provide resilience and alternate win conditions.
