Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Voltron and counters deck centered on Me, the Immortal. The strategy accelerates mana on early turns to cast Me, the Immortal by Turn 4. Once on the battlefield, Me steadily gains +1/+1 and keyword counters at the beginning of each combat. The deck compounds this growth using counter doublers such as Branching Evolution, Hydra's Growth, Bristly Bill, Spine Sower, and Visions of Dominance. Evasion enablers like Herald of Secret Streams, Wonder, and Rikku, Resourceful Guardian ensure Me connects for lethal commander damage. A signature strength of the commander is its zone-retention text: counters stay on Me in the graveyard, command zone, and exile, allowing it to return as a massive threat immediately. Supported by alternate win conditions like Simic Ascendancy and resilient protection like Heroic Intervention and Slip Out the Back, the deck applies relentless combat pressure to eliminate opponents in sequential turn cycles.
