Deck overview

This deck is a classic Temur Stompy list led by Surrak Dragonclaw. It uses efficient green ramp to jump ahead on mana during early turns, then deploys engines like Temur Ascendancy and Garruk's Uprising to draw cards whenever high-power creatures enter the battlefield. The commander provides flash, uncounterable creature casting, and trample to push past blockers. Explosive late-game threats like Maelstrom Wanderer, Apex Devastator, Etali, Primal Conqueror, and Terror of the Peaks flood the board with massive power and burn down life totals. While the deck lacks tutors and infinite combos, its density of interchangeable threats and resilient anti-countermagic abilities let it build overwhelming combat boards by Turn 5 and close out the table by Turn 7.
