Deathtouch 2 by xXdueceXx

Format: Commander

Commander: The Serpent Society

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Golgari deathtouch and poison deck helmed by The Serpent Society leverages a wide board of deathtouch creatures to grind value through forced sacrifices, combat trades, and infect/toxic pressure. The commander's death trigger turns every lost deathtoucher into a one-sided edict, while Fynn, the Fangbearer, toxic bodies, and classic infect threats (Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon, Hand of the Praetors, Phyrexian Swarmlord) race opponents toward ten poison. Recursion engines such as Meren of Clan Nel Toth, Gleancrawler, and Deadbridge Chant keep the board sticky, and finishers like Unnatural Growth, Massacre Wurm, and Vraska, Golgari Queen's emblem provide alternate clocks. The deck plays as midrange attrition that slowly locks the table under edicts and poison rather than explosive combos.
