ardyns silly little men by Jbarrass

Format: Commander

Commander: Ardyn, the Usurper

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-black Demon-tribal midrange deck helmed by Ardyn, the Usurper, built to grind out games through life-drain, a resilient Demon board, and the Liliana's Contract alternate win. The plan is to ramp hard with rocks, Crypt Ghast, and K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, then deploy Ardyn to exile creature cards from graveyards and turn them into 5/5 Demon tokens with haste, lifelink, and menace. Drain engines like The Meathook Massacre, Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER, and Enduring Tenacity chip every opponent while Bloodletter of Aclazotz doubles the pain. The deck closes through combat with hasty Demons, a drain race, or the Contract's four-Demon check, with Zenos yae Galvus // Shinryu as a spicy backup win. It is a value-and-inevitability deck rather than a fast combo deck.
