Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain kindred midrange build led by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The game plan revolves around deploying synergistic Villain creatures that trigger and benefit from the connive mechanic, filtering hand quality while growing a wide, evasive combat board. Doom provides built-in menace and steady card selection, punishing land discards with direct life drain against all opponents. Key amplifiers such as Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon, Leader, Super-Genius, and Raphael, the Muscle accelerate clock speed by multiplying counters and combat damage. The deck controls opposing battlefields using a flexible suite of removal spells including Toxic Deluge, Blasphemous Act, and Lethal Scheme. While the deck lacks fast combo finishes and proactive protection magic, it maintains high resilience through mayhem recursion and redundant token generation, steadily depleting enemy life totals across turns 6 to 8.
