Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic mono-black lifegain, aristocrats, and reanimation engine commanded by Moseo, Vein's New Dean. In the early game, Moseo generates attacking Pest tokens that guarantee lifegain triggers each turn, fueling Moseo's Infusion ability to recur utility creatures from the graveyard at every end step. The deck utilizes self-mill, discard, and sacrifice outlets to cycle impactful creatures while steadily padding its life total. In the mid-game, asymmetric attrition from Witch of the Moors, Archon of Cruelty, and Sheoldred, the Apocalypse suppresses opposing boards and depletes opponent resources. The primary win condition centers on the infinite lifegain-drain combo of Exquisite Blood paired with Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Sanguine Bond, or Bloodthirsty Conqueror, which eliminates the entire table in a single turn once triggered. Alternatively, the deck can overwhelm opponents through massive devotion drains via Gray Merchant of Asphodel or Bolas's Citadel storm lines.
