Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Mardu Vampire tribal deck built around Edgar Markov's Eminence ability, which creates a 1/1 Vampire token for every Vampire spell you cast - even while Edgar sits in the command zone. The plan is to flood the battlefield with cheap Vampires and tokens, pump them with a lord suite (Captivating Vampire, Legion Lieutenant, Stromkirk Captain, Vampire Nocturnus), and convert the wide board into life drain through Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, Sanctum Seeker, and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. The deck carries two real combo finishes: the Exquisite Blood + Vito/Marauding Blight-Priest infinite life-drain loop, and the Oathsworn Vampire + Ashnod's Altar/Warren Soultrader + drain-trigger loops. Edgar himself is a haste, first-strike attacker who pumps the whole team on every attack, but the deck functions even if he never leaves the command zone.
