Deck overview

This four-color deck combines Sphinx tribal synergy with Keruga, the Macrosage as a companion, utilizing a mana curve strictly composed of cards with mana value 3 or greater. Helmed by The Ur-Sphinx, the deck leverages eminence cost reduction alongside dense 3-CMC acceleration like Urza's Incubator, Cultivate, and Faeburrow Elder to bypass its early-game restriction. Around turn 5, powerful engines such as Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign and Kindred Discovery establish massive card flow, rapidly deploying high-power flying Sphinxes. On turn 6, casting and attacking with The Ur-Sphinx triggers mass milling and free spell-casting from all players' libraries, building overwhelming board presence. The deck closes games around turn 8 via evasive combat damage, reinforced by Magister Sphinx and a decisive Akroma's Will. While restricted from low-cost interaction by Keruga, the deck compensates with substantial aerial pressure, asymmetric sweepers, and resilient top-end refill.
