Deck overview

This is a Yurlok of Scorch Thrash group-slug deck that turns shared mana into life loss, then uses mana doublers to cast a large finisher. Early mana creatures, Sol Ring, Dark Ritual, Talismans, and tutors support a turn-4 or turn-5 Yurlok of Scorch Thrash. The main operating state is Yurlok of Scorch Thrash plus Mana Flare or Heartbeat of Spring, followed by Bloodletter of Aclazotz and a large Exsanguinate. With enough lands and surviving mana sources, Bloodletter of Aclazotz doubles a turn-8 Exsanguinate for X=20 into 40 life loss per opponent. The finish is fast once assembled, but the setup needs several expensive permanents and is vulnerable to removal and countermagic. Secondary pressure comes from Price of Glory, Mana Web, Citadel of Pain, Power Surge, and Stoneshaker Shaman, though these effects are not consistently assembled as a lock. Card flow is respectable but not guaranteed, and recovery after a full board disruption is slow.
