Deck overview

Nekusar, the Mindrazer commands a Grixis wheel and group-slug deck designed to turn opponents' card draw into lethal damage. The deck accelerates in early turns using mana rocks and defensive stax pieces like Overburden and Meekstone, stalling opposing creature combat while preparing its engines. Once Nekusar or redundant punishers like Underworld Dreams and Fate Unraveler enter play, the deck unleashes symmetric wheel effects including Windfall, Whispering Madness, and Time Spiral. These spells strip opponents of their sculpted hands while dealing massive, table-wide damage bursts. Artifacts like Teferi's Puzzle Box lock opponents into repeating draw-step burn cycles, while recursion engines like Underworld Breach and Yawgmoth's Will replay key wheels from the graveyard. Backed by cheap counterspells to defend combo turns, the deck steadily grinds down 120 total opposing life points across rapid, compounding turns.
