Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis discard and blink control strategy centered around Kefka, Court Mage. It accelerates into Kefka on Turn 4 using efficient 2-mana artifacts, triggering symmetric discard that is broken asymmetrically by Kefka's draw ability and engines like Waste Not and Geth's Grimoire. Blink effects such as Displacer Kitten, Thassa, Deep-Dwelling, and Ghostly Flicker repeatedly re-trigger Kefka and utility creatures like Ertai Resurrected and Aether Channeler to dismantle opposing hands and boards. As opponents fall to zero cards, passive rack effects including Shrieking Affliction, Quest for the Nihil Stone, and Bandit's Talent combine with token combat to whittle down life totals over several turns. While lacking instant-win infinite combos or fast-mana bursts, the deck generates formidable card advantage and grinding board control through its synergistic enter-the-battlefield loops.
