King Rule the World by user1507162

Commander: Kenrith, the Returned King

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a five-color midrange value list helmed by Kenrith, the Returned King. Early dorks and ability-cost reducers - Training Grounds, Biomancer's Familiar, Zirda, the Dawnwaker, Agatha of the Vile Cauldron - turn Kenrith into a cheap, repeatable draw spell and reanimator. Rhystic Study, The One Ring, Sylvan Library, and Kenrith then find haymakers (Atraxa, Grand Unifier, Etali, Primal Conqueror, Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger) that are cast off Bloom Tender/Kinnan, Bonder Prodigy mana or cheated in with Reanimate, Animate Dead, and Necromancy. There are no infinite combo lines; the deck wins by grinding out resources and closing in combat, with Finale of Devastation as the clearest burst. Kenrith is a key command-zone engine, but the 99 is self-sufficient goodstuff, so the plan survives his removal.
