Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Villain kindred midrange build commanded by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria. The strategy centers on deploying iconic Marvel Villains, triggering combat connive to sculpt hands and buff attackers, and draining opponents whenever land cards are discarded. Early turns focus on establishing mana rocks and low-curve Villains like Prowler, Clawed Thief and Baron Strucker, HYDRA Overlord. By Turn 4, Doctor Doom arrives to grant menace and drive continuous looting. Mid-game payoffs like Iron Monger, Sadistic Tycoon, Ultron, Unlimited, and Madame Hydra turn routine looting into board presence and team-wide power buffs. Discard outlets simultaneously fuel Archfiend of Ifnir to clear opposing blockers and enable Mayhem cards from the graveyard. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through wide, evasive combat damage backed by direct life loss, providing an engaging, highly thematic aggressive midrange game plan.
