Format: Commander

Commander: Homer, the Hermit

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Homer is a landfall mill engine: every land that enters lets you mill opponents twice the number of Crabs, Lobsters, Nautiluses, Starfish, and Trilobites you control. The deck builds a board of cheap sea creatures, then multiplies land drops with Exploration, Oracle of Mul Daya, bounce lands, and land-ramp spells like Harrow and Roiling Regrowth. Secondary lines include Bruvac plus kicked Maddening Cacophony, Fraying Sanity end-step kills, and Phenax converting toughness into mill. There is no hidden commander; Bruvac is the most important lieutenant. The plan is to kill the table with one large end-step burst after accumulating landfall triggers.
