Deck overview

This Gruul deck uses Ulasht, the Hate Seed as a flexible swarm payoff and removal outlet at the head of a creature-heavy token strategy. Early turns focus on establishing board presence with cheap red and green creatures like Llanowar Elves, Mogg War Marshal, and Elder Auntie. On Turn 4, Ulasht enters with multiple +1/+1 counters, converting excess mana into additional 1/1 Saprolings or shooting down small opposing utility creatures. By Turn 6, the deck achieves critical onset, attacking with a wide swarm backed by combat enhancers such as Trumpet Blast and Blood Mist. Without infinite combos or fast mana, the deck closes games over three full combat rotations by Turn 9. The list features reliable on-curve land drops and resilient backup beaters like Bestial Menace and Symbiotic Beast, but it lacks stack interaction, hard stax locks, and dedicated protective spells against board sweepers.
