Here Lies Vraska by user7048186

Format: Commander

Commander: Skullbriar, the Walking Grave

Bracket: 1

Deck overview

Skullbriar is the deck's engine and finisher: a hasty 1/1 that grows each hit and keeps every +1/+1 counter through the graveyard and command zone. The deck uses Golgari ramp to land Skullbriar on turn two and compound counters with Hydra's Growth, Biogenic Ooze, and Retreat to Kazandu. Secondary plans are beatdown with large Hydras, Spiders, and Oozes, plus Unnatural Growth doubling every attacker, and a late Vraska emblem. It has no combos or tutors; games are won by grinding advantage through removal, draw, and persistent threats. Because Skullbriar lacks trample, the deck depends on removing blockers and attacking every turn.
