Deck overview

This five-color Shrine/enchantment deck is built around Hei Bai, Forest Guardian, a single-faced commander who fetches a Shrine on entry and later converts legendary enchantments into a Spirit army. There is no double-faced commander or hidden general in the command zone. The primary plan is to ramp into a critical mass of Shrines, letting Sanctum of All double triggers once six are present; Honden of Seeing Winds supplies cards, Honden of Life's Web and Go-Shintai of Shared Purpose flood the board with Spirits, and Sanctum of Stone Fangs plus Honden of Infinite Rage drain the table. Secondary win paths are a wide Angel/Spirit attack via Hallowed Haunting/Sigil of the Empty Throne and recursion through Eiganjo Dynastorian // Replenish.
