The Bear Necessities by sir_velo

Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mono-green Bear tribal built to cast Beorn the Fierce on curve, protect him, and turn his 'three Bears' trigger into a card-draw engine. Ramp spells like Nature's Lore, Cultivate, and Sol Ring accelerate the 5-mana commander to turns 3-4. Once Beorn is down, cheap Bear tokens from Grizzly Fate, Argoth, and Ayula make the draw trigger fire every combat, while trample counters and anthems keep the board advancing. Finishers are Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, Beastmaster Ascension, and a Ghalta that is usually nearly free. Wilson, Ayula, and Goreclaw serve as hidden subcommanders, but the deck plans around Beorn.
