Deck overview

This deck is a Bant Historic Tokens Midrange deck piloted by The Sixth Doctor and Romana II. The strategy focuses on casting historic spells—including artifacts, legendary permanents, and Sagas—and copying them into nonlegendary token duplicates. Supported by early ramp like Sol Ring and Three Visits, the deck deploys The Sixth Doctor by Turn 5 and begins doubling major threats on Turn 6. Payoffs such as Displaced Dinosaurs, Koma, World-Eater, Alistair, the Brigadier, and Thousand Moons Smithy quickly create overwhelming board states with massive creature power. Romana II, City of Death, and Three Blind Mice further amplify the token engine across consecutive turns. While the deck possesses massive compounding board presence and resilient backup token generators, it remains vulnerable to sweepers and fast combo strategies due to limited stack interaction and a high-cost commander requiring multiple turn rotations to close the game.
