Deck overview

This Simic deck leverages Zimone, Mystery Unraveler to convert standard landfall triggers into high-impact board development. On the first land drop each turn, Zimone manifests dread, digging through the library to place cards face down as 2/2 creatures while loading the graveyard. On subsequent land drops during the same turn, Zimone flips face-down permanents face up for free, bypassing the massive mana costs of game-ending beaters such as Worldspine Wurm, Hydra Omnivore, and Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar. Supported by classic Simic ramp engines like Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait and Tatyova, Benthic Druid, the deck rapidly scales mana and card advantage. Once large creatures are cheated into play, overrun finishers including Overwhelming Stampede and Thunderfoot Baloth grant trample and explosive power buffs to eliminate the table in decisive combat steps.
