Commander: Indominus Rex, Alpha

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Indominus Rex, Alpha is a Sultai keyword-cycling beatdown commander. The deck aims to cast it early, discard keyword-rich creature cards such as Sire of Seven Deaths and Vampire Nighthawk, then use the resulting burst draw to fuel a graveyard-recursion attack plan. Secondary paths include +1/+1 counter synergy via Hardened Scales and Warden of the Grove, plus a hidden Ultimecia transformation that grants an extra turn. Indominus is both the card-advantage engine and the primary evasive threat; if it is answered, the deck can still reanimate or hard-cast large creatures, but at noticeably lower velocity.
