[cEDH] Krenko, Mob Boss’s Playground [[PRIMER]] by yungoyvey

Format: Commander

Commander: Krenko, Mob Boss

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Krenko, Mob Boss is both the central engine and the finisher. The deck aims to accelerate past the normal curve, cast Krenko with a haste enabler such as Goblin Warchief, then double the goblin count each untap. Mana Echoes and token sacrifice turn that count into huge mana, which Staff of Domination or untap effects convert into repeated activations and ultimately into a kill. Backup lines use Dualcaster Mage with Twinflame, Molten Duplication, or Heat Shimmer to create an arbitrarily large hasty token army, while Underworld Breach and Goblin Welder-like effects keep the lines ded from several angles. Conspicuous Snoop acts as a hidden Krenko-style engine with Recruiter-type stacks. The deck is fast but remains strongly dependent on assembling Krenko and a mana-producing breakthrough.
