Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Voltron-spellslinger build centered on Tetsuo, Imperial Champion. The primary plan accelerates mana and deploys cheap Equipment during the opening turns, casts Tetsuo on turn 3, and attacks on turn 4. When Tetsuo attacks while equipped, his triggered ability casts instant and sorcery spells for free or deals direct damage scaled to the greatest mana value among attached Equipment. By stacking high-power equipment like Wrecking Ball Arm, Grafted Wargear, and Cranial Plating alongside combat enhancers like Temur Battle Rage and Bulk Up, the deck rapidly delivers lethal commander damage to individual opponents starting on turn 5. Alternate beatdown lines through Gilgamesh, Master-at-Arms and Reckless Crew provide backup pressure if Tetsuo is removed. The deck features functional card draw and removal but lacks proactive stax pieces, compact infinite combos, and dense countermagic protection, relying on sequential combat steps to close out the table.
