Deck overview

This deck is an Esper Zombie tribal and discard-reanimator list commanded by Hashaton, Scarab's Fist. Hashaton converts discarded creature cards into 4/4 black Zombie token copies for {2}{U}. The deck supports this mechanic through free and low-cost discard outlets like Psychic Frog, Ghostly Pilferer, and Cryptbreaker, converting high-cost threats such as Grave Titan, Rot Hulk, and Archfiend of Ifnir into immediate board presence. Token duplication from Renewed Solidarity and Necroduality accelerates board expansion, while drain engines like Corpse Knight, Wayward Servant, and Syr Konrad, the Grim chip away at opponent life totals. Strong defensive interaction, including Fierce Guardianship, Force of Negation, and Deadly Rollick, protects the board. Without relying on infinite combos or heavy fast mana, the deck functions as a compounding midrange engine that closes games through wide, evasive combat damage and life drain by Turn 8.
