Deck overview

This is a Selesnya tokens-and-lifegain deck helmed by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. The core loop is simple: create creature tokens, gain life from their ETBs via Trostani, trigger a dense suite of lifegain payoffs (Archangel of Thune, Ajani's Pridemate, Lathiel, the Bounteous Dawn, Nykthos Paragon) to grow the board, then populate for exponential value. The deck wins primarily through combat with a massive, pumped token army - Ghalta and Mavren, Storm Herd, and a big Finale of Devastation are the finishers - with Halo Fountain's fifteen-tapped-creatures alternate win and Aetherflux Reservoir's life-drain as backup. It is a midrange value engine that wins through incremental advantage rather than fast combos, and it leans heavily on Trostani as the double-duty lifegain/populate engine.
