Deck overview

This is a Golgari Elfball deck built around Lathril, Blade of the Elves, a single-faced commander whose two modes are token generation and life-drain. The primary plan is to ramp out Lathril early, use her unblocked combat damage to produce a wide Elf army, then finish with lord pump and either combat damage or the ten-Elf drain activation. Secondary paths include Ezuri's overrun, Unnatural Growth doubling, and value from draw engines like Beast Whisperer and Guardian Project. High Perfect Morcant supports the plan as a secondary payoff, not a hidden commander. The deck is a fair, board-oriented aggro-combo build that wins through overwhelming Elf synergies rather than a compact combo.
