Captain Crunch by user5605391

Format: Commander

Commander: Aziza, Mage Tower Captain

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Aziza, Mage Tower Captain is a token-copy engine in RW: the deck spends early turns making two or three small creatures so that later instant/sorcery token makers can be copied by tapping them. The primary plan is to multiply those copies with Anointed Procession, Mondrak, Exalted Sunborn, Elspeth, and Ojer Taq, then drain everyone with Purphoros, Impact Tremors, Warleader's Call, Molten Gatekeeper, or Slash. Combat with Intangible Virtue/Flowering anthems and Arabella is the secondary path; Toralf plus Blasphemous Act supplies a board-clearing alternative. The hidden commander is the token-doubling package, since Aziza depends on it to turn a normal token turn into a kill. Without her the deck still plays a solid go-wide token strategy, but less explosively.
