Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Landfall and Ramp strategy commanded by Witherbloom, the Balancer. The primary game plan accelerates mana through dense land-fetching sorceries to deploy persistent token generators like Zendikar's Roil, Sporemound, and Beledros Witherbloom. As the board fills with creature tokens, Witherbloom, the Balancer grants affinity for creatures to all instant and sorcery spells, enabling explosive discounts on massive late-game spells such as Reshape the Earth, Casualties of War, and Command the Dreadhorde. The deck closes games primarily through combat damage, leveraging Avenger of Zendikar or an entwined Rude Awakening to overwhelm the table with pumped creatures. While the deck boasts high mana velocity and redundant token generation, it lacks dedicated stack protection and fast mana, relying instead on steady land development and powerful board resets like Culling Ritual to outpace opponents.
