Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Grixis Villain tribal combat deck commanded by Loki, the Deceiver. The primary game plan revolves around deploying efficient early Villain creatures that connive and generate incremental value, followed by casting Loki to duplicate these threats on attack declarations. By creating non-legendary token copies of powerhouse Villains such as The Squadron Sinister, Doctor Doom, and The Master, Multiplied, the deck rapidly scales its power output while refilling its hand whenever Villains deal combat damage. To maximize value, cards like Sundial of the Infinite and Obeka, Brute Chronologist allow you to end your turn with end-step sacrifice triggers on the stack, permanently retaining temporary token copies. Backed by free Commander-centric countermagic and removal, the deck aggressively pressures life totals and closes the game across two to three combat turns.
