Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Gruul mid-range and artifact attrition deck commanded by Kibo, Uktabi Prince. The strategy accelerates on Turn 1 with efficient mana dorks to deploy Kibo on Turn 2. On Turn 3, Kibo begins distributing Banana tokens to every player and attacking to force defending players to sacrifice artifacts. As opponents crack their Bananas for mana or lose artifacts to forced sacrifice, Kibo and your Ape and Monkey creatures rapidly grow with +1/+1 counters. Asymmetric hate pieces like Manglehorn and Bloodroot Apothecary turn opponents' Bananas into tapped liabilities or lethal poison traps, while Gorilla Shaman can cheaply pick off artifact tokens at instant speed. The deck converts this board dominance into lethal combat pressure via trample enablers and extra combat steps, threatening table elimination by Turn 7. It also contains an incidental two-card infinite damage combo with All Will Be One and The Red Terror for an alternate instant win.
