It's Grrrrrrist! by PandasPlayMTGToo

Format: Commander

Commander: Grist, Voracious Larva // Grist, the Plague Swarm

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Grist, Voracious Larva is only the shell; the deck is built to flip into Grist, the Plague Swarm. Early self-mill fills the graveyard while one or two recursive creatures (Bloodghast, Jocasta, Teacher's Pest) re-enter from the yard, triggering the transform. The back face then acts as a mill engine: +1 creates Insect tokens and deepens the graveyard until -6 is live. The ultimate makes 1/1 Insect copies of every creature card in the graveyard; a free sacrifice outlet (Viscera Seer) plus one or more blood-artist effects (Zulaport, Mirkwood Bats, Aatchik) converts them into lethal drain. Secondary paths are slow attrition with Aatchik, Braids, and recursion. No infinite combo is present.
