Deck overview

This colorless Commander deck is commanded by Ultron, Artificial Malevolence, an engine commander that duplicates nontoken artifacts for {2} as they enter the battlefield, converting noncreature copies into 2/2 Robot Villain creatures. The deck leverages dense colorless acceleration—including fast mana, mana rocks, and the Urza land suite—to deploy Ultron on Turn 2 or 3 and begin cloning mana rocks, draw engines, and utility permanents on Turn 4. On Turn 5, the resulting mana surge enables devastating asymmetric bombs such as Portal to Phyrexia, Selective Obliteration, Myr Battlesphere, and Krang, Utrom Warlord. The strategy aims to overwhelm the table through duplicated board presence, heavy attrition, and boosted combat damage, closing out games by Turn 7. While the deck boasts immense mana velocity and robust board resilience via Darksteel Forge and Eldritch Immunity, its interaction suite is constrained by the narrow reactive profile inherent to colorless identity.
