2.4 - Drain the Swamp by Themilkywayfarer

Format: Commander

Commander: Vihaan, Goldwaker

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Vihaan, Goldwaker turns Mardu's token-treasure plan into a swarm of hasty 3/3 Assassins. The primary path is to generate extra nonland mana through Smothering Tithe, Black Market Connections, and repeatable Treasure makers, then animate those Treasures for combat. Secondary paths use token death/drain: Mirkwood Bats, The Meathook Massacre, and Smaug the Magnificent convert token loops into life loss, while Kardur, Doomscourge and Disrupt Decorum force opponents into bad attacks. Aggravated Assault provides repeated combat phases that can end the game once the Treasure count is high. Prosper, Dihada, and Zurgo act as supplemental engines, but the deck is built around Vihaan's combat trigger.
