Deck overview

This Dimir deck leverages Emet-Selch, Unsundered as both an early hand filter and a late-game recursive powerhouse. During the early stages, the deck deploys incremental self-mill permanents such as Hedron Crab, Perpetual Timepiece, and Ripples of Undeath to fill the graveyard while chipping away with Emet-Selch's looting triggers. Once the graveyard reaches fourteen cards, Emet-Selch transforms into Hades, Sorcerer of Eld, allowing you to cast spells directly from the graveyard like a repeatable Yawgmoth's Will. The deck pivots into a decisive finish by utilizing Doomsday or aggressive self-milling into Thassa's Oracle or Laboratory Maniac.
