Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity mono-green stompy strategy built around Runadi, Behemoth Caller. The primary game plan focuses on deploying efficient Turn 1 mana dorks to cast Runadi on Turn 2, followed by ramping into 5+ mana value creatures on Turn 3. When Runadi is on the battlefield, casting massive threats with mana value 7 or greater gives them three or more +1/+1 counters, immediately granting them haste. This eliminates the conventional summoning sickness delay of battlecruiser decks, allowing behemoths like Tyrranax Rex, Old Gnawbone, and Apex Devastator to attack immediately. The deck sustains its momentum through power-based card draw engines such as Garruk's Uprising, The Great Henge, and Return of the Wildspeaker. Combat damage doubles rapidly using Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus and Railway Brawler, closing out games across two combat cycles. While vulnerable to early spot removal on Runadi and creature sweepers, its dense mana base and standalone beaters ensure steady resilience and recovery.
